During surgery, Dr. Reddy makes an incision inside the nose which he closes with absorbable thread. Dr. Reddy may support the septum with soft silicone splints which may be inserted inside each nostril. To prevent postoperative bleeding, Dr. Reddy may place bandage-like material in your nose.

Recovery is relatively quick and the discomfort is manageable. Patients can resume light activities and return to work in one to two weeks.
